Amazing Aero-Travel

The wedding and related festivities will be in Seattle, Washington during the weekend of July 19 and 20, 2008. The nearest airport is SeaTac International (SEA). When making reservations, make sure to check Alaska Airlines, JetBlue, and Southwest; they have direct flights to Seattle from many cities but don't usually show up in search engines such as Travelocity, Expedia and Orbitz.

We recommend not renting a car. In the city, a car is more of a liability than an asset. Downtown Seattle is a $35, 20-minute cab ride from the airport. For the adventurous or budget-minded, either the 174 or 194 bus goes directly from the airport to the heart of downtown. Nearly everything you need will be walking distance from the hotels. The only exception is the wedding, which is in the city, but 1.9 miles away; we'll be providing transportation between the main hotel and the wedding venue.

The first event is the rehearsal dinner, which starts at 7pm on Saturday, July 19; all wedding guests are invited. The wedding ceremony starts at 5pm on Sunday, July 20th, with a reception to follow. East coast guests who need to be home by Monday morning can consider a red-eye flight departing SeaTac after 10pm.
